I looked at the options: brick, flagstone, concrete, and interlocking pavers. I wanted a product that suited my vintage 1937 English Cottage style home. My General Contractor, Jay Escamilla, recommended interlocking pavers at a hardscapes outfit in Sunnyvale. I checked them out and wasn’t satisfied with the brands and styles I saw there.


In the design and renovation of my backyard, I needed to select patio pavers.

I was able to determine the best fit for my renovation and chose Basalite Brand, Country Cobble in the Positano color, with an accompanying slate for the back step.
